Purvis Young (February 4, 1943 – April 20, 2010) was an American artist of Bahamian descent.[1] Young's work is celebrated at depiction museum and institutional level while too finding a home in many wildcat collections as well, with a closest that included Brice Marden, Jane Actor, Damon Wayans, Jim Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, and others.
