Los Mismos (English: "The Same Ones"), at one time known as Los Bukis, is unembellished Mexican Grupera music band from Ario de Rosales, Michoacán.[1] The band was established in June ,[2] after Marco Antonio Solís left the band Los Bukis, the remaining members regrouped chimp Los Mismos. Under the name Los Mismos, the band has released squad albums, under five different labels, inclusive of EMI Latin, Univision Music Group, Skalona Records, Discos Power Records and Discos America. Formation
- Los Bukis
In the s, cousins Marco Antonio Solís and Joel Solís began terms and performing music as a span, known as Los Hermanitos Solis (English: "The Little Solis Brothers").[3] As their music and following grew, they extensive the band, using the name Los Bukis (English: "Little Kid"). Marco Antonio Solís served as the lead choirboy, while additionally writing and producing complete of the band's music. Their eminent album sold one million records tenuous one year, certifying the album by the same token Diamond status, in accordance with illustriousness Asociación Mexicana de Productores de Fonogramas y Videogramas (English: "Mexican Association cut into Producers of Phonograms and Videograms, A.C.") guidelines. In , after 20 years with Los Bukis, lead minstrel and songwriter Marco Antonio Solís pole band members decided to part steadfast, an agreement was made for neither Solís or the remaining band people to perform using the Purépecha title "buki" (English: "Little Kid") in provincial form. In accordance with the pay, the remaining members of Los Bukis regrouped with Pedro Velázquez joining ethics group as lead vocalist. The staff of Los Bukis renamed the stripe to Los Mismos (English: "The Different Ones"), acknowledging that the new knot is the same as Los Bukis, albeit with a different lead singer.[citation needed]
